The Sacred Ritual of the Warmup
Watch any pro player, baby. Watch what they do before the match that matters.
They're not just jumping straight into ranked like some caffeine-fueled chaos goblin. They're preparing. Aim trainers. Deathmatch. Practice range. The sacred ritual of the warmup.
I know, I know. You want to play. The ranked queue is calling. But here's what separates the good from the great: respect for the process.
Your hands need time to remember what they're capable of. Your eyes need to adjust to the speed. Your brain needs to shift from "scrolling TikTok" mode to "processing three things at once" mode.
This takes time. This takes intention. This takes admitting that you're not ready yet, and that's okay.
I've developed my own warmup ritual over the years. Ten minutes of aim training. Five minutes of stretching (yes, stretching โ your wrists will thank me in a decade). One casual match to find my rhythm. Then, and only then, am I ready.
You wouldn't run a marathon without stretching. Don't queue ranked without warming up.
With discipline and love,

P.S. If you don't have time to warmup, you don't have time to rank up. Adjust your expectations accordingly.
